1. Our Cookie Philosophy

Roxanne uses the absolute minimum number of cookies required to operate the platform. We use no advertising cookies, no marketing cookies, and no third-party analytics cookies. We do not track your behaviour across other websites.

2. Cookies We Use

We use exactly two cookies, both strictly necessary for the platform to function:

_roxanne_session — Session management for logged-in Advertisers. Required to maintain your authenticated session while you use the platform. Strictly necessary. Duration: end of browser session.

age_and_cookies_acknowledged — Records your active confirmation on the age verification banner that you are 18+ and have acknowledged our cookie and privacy notice. Prevents the banner from appearing on every page visit. Strictly necessary. Duration: approximately 1 year.

Both cookies are set with the following security flags where technically supported by your browser: HttpOnly (cannot be accessed by JavaScript), Secure (transmitted only over HTTPS), SameSite=Lax (protection against cross-site request forgery).

3. What We Do Not Use

No third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar).
No advertising or retargeting cookies.
No social media tracking cookies.
No third-party tracking of any kind.

Roxanne does not use any third-party analytics services. No data about your visit is shared with advertising networks or analytics providers.

4. Why No Consent Banner Is Required

Under the GDPR and the EU ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies — those required for the basic functioning of a service specifically requested by the user — are exempt from the consent requirement. Both cookies we use fall within this exemption. This is why you will not see a consent banner asking for permission to use these cookies.

5. Blocking Cookies

You may configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Please note that blocking our session cookie (_roxanne_session) will prevent you from logging into your Advertiser account. Core platform functionality requires this cookie to be enabled.

6. Changes to This Policy

We will update this Cookie Policy if we ever introduce new cookies. Any material change will be communicated to registered Advertisers by email and through an updated notice on the platform.
